Mark D. Anderson

Mark Anderson grew up in Elberton, Georgia. He attended the University of Georgia and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree majoring in accounting. After graduation, Mark went to work in public accounting at a firm in Rome, Georgia. Two years later, he moved to Augusta, Georgia and began working for another certified public accounting firm. In 1977 he became a partner in what is now Anderson, Adkins, and Company, C.P.A’s. Over his many years of service and leadership, the firm has grown to more than twenty employees and serves over 1,500 clients. His commitment to service to clients, staff and his leadership traits have carried on today with the philosophy of:

If the staff take care of the client,
The client will take care of the firm,
The firm will take care of the staff.

We are proud to say that thanks to his philosophy, we still serve the very first client Mark brought in back in 1977.Today, Mark is fully retired and has returned home to Elberton, Georgia. He and his wife have three children and six grandchildren that keep them very busy and on the road.We thank Mark every day for building such a strong and vibrant firm that will continue for many years to come.
